Setting Up Your QR Code
Your QR code is the easiest way for guests to upload photos. Here's how to make the most of it.
Downloading Your QR Code
After creating your event, go to your event dashboard and click "Download QR Code". You'll get a high-resolution PNG file that's perfect for printing.
Printing Tips
For best results when printing your QR code:
- Size matters - Print at least 2x2 inches (5x5 cm) for easy scanning
- High contrast - Black on white works best. Avoid colored backgrounds
- Test it first - Always scan your printed QR code before the event to make sure it works
- Laminate if possible - Protects against spills and weather
Where to Display Your QR Code
Strategic placement helps more guests see and use your QR code:
Reception tables
Place one on each table for easy access
Near the entrance
Guests see it right when they arrive
By the photo booth
Natural reminder to share photos
Bar or food station
Guests have downtime while waiting
On table numbers
Combine with existing signage
Bathroom mirrors
Unexpected but effective placement
Using Printable Templates
We offer free Canva templates that you can customize to match your event theme. Access them from your event dashboard under "Printable Templates".
Templates include signs, table tents, and cards in various sizes and styles.
Pro Tip
Include a brief instruction like "Scan to share your photos!" near the QR code. Not everyone knows what to do with a QR code.
Multiple QR Codes
Your event only needs one QR code—it stays the same no matter how many copies you print. All guests scanning any copy will upload to the same shared gallery.
